MHT Trading Company was founded in 2005 by a team of trade professionals who recognized a critical gap in the global import market: Western buyers were paying 30–40% more than necessary simply because they lacked on-the-ground representation in China's largest wholesale hub — Yiwu International Trade City.
Starting with a small team of 6 sourcing agents embedded directly inside the Yiwu market, we built our first network of vetted suppliers across hardware, textiles, and consumer goods. Within three years, demand from Middle East distributors prompted us to open our Dubai office in 2008 — giving our clients a regional logistics anchor for GCC distribution.
By 2012, Pakistan operations were established to serve South Asian importers with local customs expertise and currency flexibility. In 2015, our France office opened to serve European clients navigating CE certification, EU import duties, and complex REACH compliance requirements.
Today, MHT Trading operates from 4 global offices with a team of 60+ specialists. We have sourced over $500 million in goods across 8 industries and have maintained a client retention rate of 95% — a testament to the trust we've built over two decades.
